All of the above (and many other issues) is holding back the development of the web. We should act now. It should be done independently from the big Internet companies — we shouldn’t model our needs on what they are up to offer: this is no-sense. With a better model to deal with people and data new startups will be able to offer kick ass services to their customers. Dinosaurs will need to adapt or they will die sooner or later.
